The eyes have it ........ Well the buttons do

Hey so this is my first review so be patient with me :P

...."Of course Toryn"
..........."Aw thanks voice in my head"
...."No problem dude" *Takes off on a jetpack*

So yeah, What do Dawn French, Teri HatcherDakota Fanning, Jennifer Saunders and Henry Selick have in common (and its not that they are all AMAZING) ..........Its a little movie called CORALINE !!!

Now as you may remember my first blog was all about the orgasm that is stop go animation, well here's another reason to love it. Henry Selick the amazing director behind The Nightmare Before Christmas (no Tim Burton did not direct it, he wrote it :P) has struck gold once more with this Jem stuck in a world of movies full of sex, action scenes, drugs and very little meaning.

Coraline Jones is a young girl with a big problem. Her life. Her parents are authors and have moved her out to the back arse of America (please don't hold her nationality against her, in the novel she was British) so they can have some peace (that really backfires on them) to write their Gardening catalouge (apperantley its a real thing).

Well this sounds dull you are thinking. Well all I have to say is fuck you !!! Coraline soon finds her self in BIG trouble when she accidentaly discovers the perfect world created by her "other mother", a doppelgänger of her mother with buttons insted of eyes. In this world her "other mother" can cook (Coralines real mother can't) her "other father" is  musicaly talented (her real father is not), her "other neighbours" are interesting (her real neighbours most certainly not) and her only ally is a sarcastic but loyal talking cat.

But things are not as they seem and after meeting the ghost children, loosing her parents and being trapped in a mirror Coraline soon discovers that when something seems to good to be true, it usualy is.

Now just because this is an animated movie DO NOT make the mistake of branding it as a "kids" movie, it is so much more, it is one big orgasm of emotion, amazing characters, comedy and at the heart of it all that feeling of not belonging we have all felt at one point.

So if this blog has taught us anything it's.......DON'T let them sow the buttons in (go watch it and you'll understand :P)
